MRPOA MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Membership: Membership is open to owners (or long term occupiers) of properties along the Bala Reach section of the Moon River below the Bala dams and above the Ragged Rapids and Moon River dams in the Township of Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, Canada 

Membership Fees: Membership fees for 2008 are $30.

Membership Year: The MRPOA membership year is the calendar year.  Monies received after November 1 for membership renewals will be applied to membership for the next calendar year. Monies received from new members paying at the AGM will be applied to membership for the balance of the current year and to membership for the next calendar year.  

Membership Privileges: Members are entitled to vote at meetings of the members; receive two Newsletters per year; receive e-mail announcements concerning issues or events of interest; be listed in and receive a directory of MRPOA members; serve as directors and officers; and participate in MRPOA committees and events. Activities and events normally include a general members' meeting in June, AGM in September, Regatta, Corn Roast, Golf Tournament.

Participation in MRPOA Events: Immediate family members and guests of Members are welcome to participate in MRPOA events. 

MRPOA SPONSORS

Muskoka merchants are invited to become MRPOA Sponsors.  In recognition of a $75 annual donation, MRPOA Sponsors will receive a window sign and be listed on the MRPOA Website.
