Moon River “Lake” Plan - Welcome! 

The Moon River Property Owners’ Association (MRPOA) has initiated the development of a Lake (Stewardship) Plan for the portion of the Moon River between the Bala dams to the East and the Moon River and Ragged Rapids dams to the West. 

This Moon River "Lake" Plan  will document and promote the protection of the unique qualities of the Moon River watershed through land-use policy and supporting stewardship activities. The River Plan will reflect the collective views and concerns of community members and other stakeholders and will form the basis of formal input by MRPOA to the Township of Muskoka Lakes as it regularly reviews its Official Plan and Zoning by-laws.
