The drawing and artist's rendition are included in a document entitled North Bala Dam Proposal: MNR-DAM-RFP-01-05 dated July 5, 2005 by Swift River Energy Limited in association with Horizon Hydro Inc., Acres International Limited, Bracebridge Generation Limited, Forrec Ltd. and Gowling's Energy Group. 

The document contains a note to reader which states, in part: "Please note that the conceptual layout as presented in the proposal is preliminary, and the final details will depend on dialogue with regulatory agencies while taking public feedback into consideration.  Regardless of the final design, the proposed facility will be operated so as to ensure that the Lake Muskoka levels are maintained within the range prescribed by the Muskoka River Water Management Plan."
